Park Chan-Wook's new masterpiece will open this year's festival. The film received the award for best directing at the film festival in Cannes this year.

About the film
Hae-Joon is an experienced detective from Busan assigned to a case concerning a man who has fallen to his death from a cliff. The circumstances around the death are murky and his beautiful and mysterious Chinese wife is a suspect. Already in the interrogation room, the detective notices a fascination, and the first hints of an attraction, towards the femme fatale. From there the plot twists and turns as Hae-Joon is struggling to stay away from the woman he is falling deeply in love with.
Opening party at Vin Vin
The opening party for this year's festival is at the newly opened new bar, and this year's official festival bar, Vin Vin. Food and drinks will be served, and everyone who has a ticket for any film screening during the opening day are welcome.
