Japanese day at Vega Scene
Together with the Japanese Embassy, we invite you to a day filled with culture. Enjoy a mix of Japanese films, music, workshops, and taste authentic Japanese delicacies. Experience Japan's rich cultural heritage without leaving the city!
We will also open the day with the festival's closing ceremony and a screening of EVIL DOES NOT EXIST, the new film by DRIVE MY CAR director Ryusuke Hamaguchi. Here, we will also present the festival’s main prize, the Silver Mirror Award, and the prize for Best Documentary, DOC:SOUTH.
The event takes place at Vega Scene on Sunday, November 17.

- Cultural stand hosted by the Japanese Embassy, offering various activities
- Manga workshop by the Norwegian Manga Creators Association
- Performances by a Sakura choir
- Koto music and a tea ceremony before the screening of RYUICHI SAKAMOTO: OPUS
