After the screening of MANAS on Tuesday, NOV 11, at 17.30 in Vega 1, a discussion will be held titled “MANAS – Feminist fight and gender-based violence.”
Panelists
- Moderator: Deise Faria Nunes – PhD candidate in Art in Context (University of Agder); MA in Theatre Studies (University of Oslo); performance artist and dramaturg; guest lecturer at the Department of Art, Design and Drama, OsloMet (2025–2026), and at the Norwegian Theatre Academy (2025–2026).
- Cecilia Salinas – PhD in Social Anthropology (UiO) and visual artist. She has completed a four-year postdoctoral project and conducted fieldwork in Argentina, Uruguay, and Norway, focusing on decolonial perspectives.
- Karen Waneska – PhD fellow at the Faculty of Landscape and Society (Department of Urban and Regional Planning) at NMBU, and activist with the Brazilian Group – LAG.
The event is in English, and is done in collaboration with the Latin America Groups in Norway.
