30 Minutes on Doula
After the screening of THE CONDOR DAUGHTER on Sunday November 8 we welcome you to a conversation with Geneviève, known as Doula Morena.
A doula is a companion who offers emotional and physical support during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. In this conversation, Morena will shed light on the doula profession and explore how the film invites us to reflect on the experiences of those giving birth in Norway.
About Doula Morena:
Morena is an Oslo-based multicultural doula who works in Norwegian, French, Spanish, and English. She also works as a teacher, is a member of the Norwegian Women’s Public Health Association (Sanitetskvinnene), and serves as a representative on the Central User Committee at Oslo University Hospital.
