Avalon
A unique chance to see one of Mamoru Oshii’s most interesting films on the big screen.
Ash is one of the best players of the game Avalon, a VR game where the players participate either alone or in teams while fighting through the various levels gathering experience points. Hidden deep within the game there is a secret level where the virtual world feels more real than our real world. If you die in this part of the game you will end up brain dead in real life, but if you were to survive you unlock the legendary «Class Real».
Mamoru Oshii is best known for anime classics such as Ghost in the Shell. In Avalon he brings along the themes found in his animated features and has made a curiosity worth experiencing, building on the «cyberpunk» aesthetics in a live action film, recorded in Poland with Polish actors in all roles. This is a unique opportunity to see Mamoru Oshii’s ambitious project on the big screen!
