Rough football epic with Mexico’s film favourite Gael Garcìa Bernal. Two brothers live side by side in a love-hate relationship on the Mexican countryside. With football as their main interest, both dream of a life as professional player. One day a talent scout is coming to town to watch their team, and only one is selected to go to the capital and realise his dream. To succeed proves difficult, however, with women and gambling as constant distractions. When the second brother also goes professional, a fateful match is set to be played both on and off the pitch. red
