A hard-boiled crime drama from South Africa, with Tony Kgoroge (A Long Walk to Freedom, Blood Diamond) in the lead role. A Chinese with ties to an international shipping agency is found dead on the waterfront of Cape Town. The ambitious police detective Sizwe Miya (Kgoroge) is on the case. Miya has a past in the criminal underworld but is now one of the very few non-corrupt policemen in the dysfunctional city. He receives pressure from all sides to give up on the case, as it turns out that international companies, and perhaps even the police, are involved. Miya refuses to give up, and puts a large multinational company in jeopardy. This leads to increasing corruption amongst his own colleagues, and he ends up in grave danger.

Cold Harbour is a crime mystery, high with plenty of energy and big Hollywood-worthy action scenes.
