Immersion
A paranoid father spending the weekend with his adult daughters is dragged along for an uncomfortable search operation.
Ricardo brings his two adult daughters to his childhood home in Southern Chile, but trouble brews before they ever reach it. While headed there by sailboat, they encounter a trio of local fishermen in a sinking boat. Ricardo, finding the men sketchy, ignores their pleas for help. His eldest daughter Teresita finds this despicable. Fed up with the uncomfortable atmosphere he decides to head back to help. When only two of the fishermen remain, the women pressure their father to help search for the missing man. He remains suspicious, especially considering the large, bloody bag the two strangers are carrying.
Immersion is a tragedy of distrust as much as it is a classic thriller, brought to life by a strong ensemble cast, including prolific actor Alfredo Castro.
