Agent of Happiness
In this heartwarming film, we follow the duo Amar and Gunaraj, employed by the Ministry of Happiness to measure the country's joy, one household at a time.
In Bhutan, people's standard of living is measured by the population's happiness. The duo travels through the majestic Himalayan mountains, where they meet various individuals who each have their dreams and wishes for life. This also applies to the duo. Amar is an eternal optimist in search of love, while family man Gunaraj reflects on his happiness in the life he has. In this way, Agents of Happiness delves into the essence of the concept of happiness. With humor, it questions the idea of having a happiness index in the first place while pondering the simpler joys of life.
