Reinas (Queens)
Just before two teenage daughters are about to leave Peru forever, they must spend time with their somewhat hopeless yet also charming father. The last days are filled with unexpected experiences and memories for life.
The year is 1990. Aurora and Lucía lead privileged lives, but inflation has hit the country hard, so their mother plans to take the sisters to start a new life in Minnesota, USA. However, before they can leave, she needs their father’s consent for them to travel abroad. The father, who has long been absent, now returns to their lives, and the time they spend with him makes it increasingly difficult for them to leave their homeland.
