After a burglar is overpowered by the homeowner, his life takes an unexpected turn, and the two embark on an unusual journey through the Vietnamese desert.

Instead of turning him in to the police, the old man living there makes an unusual request to the young burglar: to be reunited with his late wife. What follows is a touching journey through the Vietnamese desert.
