The Nature of Invisible Things

Ten-year-old Glória spends her school vacation wandering around the hospital where her overworked mother works as a nurse. At night, she sleeps in a storage room among boxes filled with the belongings of patients who have passed away. There she meets Sofia, who is visiting her great-grandmother Francisca. Sofia has left behind her old identity – «Bento» – in order to live as her true self. This is a beautiful and quietly told portrait of a new friendship and of life’s smaller and bigger changes.
