Ponyo (in Norwegian)
The lonely Sosuke befriends a strange goldfish that he calls Ponyo and to everyone's great surprise, Ponyo starts talking. Another masterpiece by animation master Miyazaki about love, forgiveness and coping with change.
It's a remarkable story she tells: Ponyo is really a goldfish princess who lives with her father and siblings deep down in the ocean. Her greatest desire is to live among people with Sosuke, who she likes so much. Unfortunately, Ponyo’s escape from the sea has released an ancient curse that puts the world in danger. Together, Ponyo and Sosuke make a difficult decision to save the village. The story is freely based on H. C. Andersen fairy tale, with a more contemporary message which illustrates the consequences of tampering with nature's forces.
