Korean Culture Day at Vega

In collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Norway, we invite you to experience some of the best Korean cultural highlights Oslo has to offer. The program includes a wide selection of films, performances, activities, and food.

We begin the day at 12:00 with an opening event in Vega 1, featuring a speech by the Korean Ambassador, H.E. Ms. Minjeong Seo, followed by dance performances from Hadeland Folk High School’s own K-pop dance group and Urban Nordic Crew, as well as a martial arts demonstration by Oslo Nord Taekwondo Club.

After the opening, there will be cultural experiences for the whole family throughout the venue. The program includes a wide selection of new and classic Korean films, tastings from Korean cuisine, a Norigae workshop where you can create your own ornament, a photo booth with traditional Korean clothing and accessories, K-pop music, a dance workshop, and Korean games and activities.
